These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions. Please read them carefully and do not progress with any order if you disagree with them. They do not affect your statutory rights determined by the laws of the United Kingdom.
products
We do our best to accurately describe all the products for sale. However, with all the will in the world this is not always possible and errors may occur. We would ask you to contact us as soon as possible after receiving any goods so that we can correct the error.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the quality and consistency of the Stock, the Kits or their contents, some components by their very nature are subject to slight colour, size and manufacturing variations.
All weights, quantities and dimensions are approximate and are given as a guide only.
All items are offered subject to availability.
Illustrations and photographs are not necessarily to scale and their colour may not be accurate. They are provided only as an aid to the customer.
prices
All of the prices and charges are in GB Pounds Sterling. They do not include any delivery charges (if applicable).
If there has been a glaring error with the price of an item we reserve the right not to continue with the sale and will contact you to confirm your order at the correct price. Please note only one discount can be applied to any order.
Notwithstanding the above, in the case of web-based orders, we will abide by the price indicated on your order confirmation email. For catalogue orders, the prices in the latest catalogue will supersede all previous issues, except where an obvious error has been made.
shipping
Our aim is to ship orders within 48 hours by first class post for UK orders and airmail for international orders. However, due to holidays, show commitments, sickness or busy periods there may be a delay. In addition, we are also subject to delays from our suppliers, which have a knock-on effect. Where we consider a delay to be unacceptable, we will contact the customer giving option to cancel the order.
Care should be taken in selecting the correct shipping area as delays are possible where an error has been made and we have to contact you for the extra shipping costs or refunds.
out of stock items
Whilst we aim to keep a reasonable stock of products, it is sometimes unavoidable that we run out. In this instance we will send the item at a later date at no extra expense to the customer unless it is requested otherwise, in which case a refund will be made.
payment
Payments can be made in a variety of options including Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Personal Cheques and PayPal. All payments must be made in GB Pounds Sterling to Oak Tree Crafts Ltd or in the case of PayPal, admin@oaktreecrafts.com. In respect of Personal Cheques we reserve the right to delay sending goods until the cheque has been cleared.
All items remain the property of Oak Tree Crafts Ltd until paid for in full.
lost in transit goods
Claims for lost in transit goods must be made to us in writing within seven days of the expected delivery date.
damaged/faulty goods
Claims for damaged goods must be made to us in writing within seven days of receipt. If we determine that the damaged/faulty item should be sent back to us, all reasonable shipping charges will be refunded. A replacement will be sent or a full refund made of the original costs (including shipping and handling). No returns/costs are accepted without prior authorisation and a returns number issued by Oak Tree Crafts Ltd.
returns
All items not falling into the damaged/faulty goods category above, may be returned to us within ten working days of receipt for a full refund (excluding shipping and handling). The goods must be in their original sealed packaging, unused, undamaged and in a saleable condition. No returns are accepted without prior authorisation and a returns number issued by Oak Tree Crafts Ltd.
cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to despatch, in which case a full refund will be made.
privacy
We take privacy very seriously and only maintain your details to facilitate the mailing of orders and tracking of your order history. Your details will never be passed on to a third party organisation.
Emails are used to send order confirmations, receipts, and other communications related to your order if that order is made via our website - no sensitive data is included. We do not warrant that email communications are free of viruses or other harmful components and we will not be liable for any damages arising from them.
trademarks
Oak Tree Crafts is the trading name of Oak Tree Crafts Ltd. It's use must be requested in writing.
